Well I must say that the saying “it’s not the destination, it’s the journey that counts” comes to mind when I think of today and everything that got us there. I knew when I read your reviews you were a very good attorney.(And if I may say it now, very pretty). I remember the elated feeling I had when you took my case. It was a relief. I also remember all the twists and turns, bombarding emails to you, and the vulnerable feeling that I could lose you as my advocate with all the frustrations I put you through. Throughout you stayed true to your word, you responded to everything that came your way in a moments notice. At times I wondered if you slept because you would respond to things I would send you after 9 pm on the same night. All along you gave me good advice, which most of the time I resisted (ok…all the time).And the Alpha in you would go head to head with the Alpha in me. I can tell you that although I was argumentative and frustrated I absolutely respected you. Today started out like most every interaction, but I got a little better and maybe as good as I could have been because I got to see that amazing attorney everyone else had seen in action. I realized you did “have it” and you didn’t need me, as you were usually a couple steps ahead of me and I finally realized that. You aren’t just a good attorney, you are the best I’ve seen.

I know you know you are good at what you do, but you’ll never know what it feels like from my perspective. I can only tell you that it feels great when you feel sage and know you’ve someone who knows what’s right and is going to find a way to get there. You are amazing.

It was my intention to write this note to you earlier to express my gratitude for representing my grandson, I was impressed with you from Day One. You did not rush us through the initial conference, but took plenty of time with us explaining in detail the steps we needed to take to establish visitation and support and how much it could cost — both on the low and high side. I was disappointed that the issues could not be resolved with the mother absent hearings, but you did all you could outside of dragging her physically into the office.
